Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring arterial line experience and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.
Details
- Work in a Cardiovascular ICU setting
- Care for critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Manage ventilated patients on pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
- Assist with line insertion and maintenance including lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
- Day/Night rotation schedule only
- Scheduled for 36 or 48 hours per week
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA only
- Arterial line experience required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Critical care experience preferred
- Experience with ICP monitoring (SICU/NCCU) preferred
- Experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD (SICU/NCCU/PICU) preferred
- Experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC) preferred
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to patients requiring advanced hemodynamic and ICP monitoring
- Assist with insertion and maintenance of specialized lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
- No local candidates allowed; must reside outside a 75-mile radius
