Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring active CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
- EPIC experience required
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
- NRP (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS) certification required
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior hits on license will be considered
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and humane care
- Provide education and health information to patients, families, and treatment teams
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- Required vaccinations must be maintained as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
