Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift position requiring active CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 36 or 48-hour weekly options
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• ACLS (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS) certification required
• NRP (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS) certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior hits on license will be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty, with recent experience within the last 3 months

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and humane care
• Provide education and health information to patients, families, and treatment teams
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Required vaccinations must be maintained as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Local candidates accepted with no radius rule, and local rates match travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
