Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS RDMS certification and 3+ years of specialty experience for an 8-week travel assignment.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient Radiology/Ultrasound department covering all ages
- Required to float across three sites: Everett, Cambridge, and Somerville
- 10 or 12 hour day/evening shifts, approximately 32 hours per week
- Schedule includes Wednesday, Thursday, and every other Saturday and Sunday with flexibility for staffing needs
- Rotating weekends required
- Holiday coverage is optional, not guaranteed
- Epic EMR experience preferred
Requirements
- ARDMS RDMS certification required
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Ultrasound specialty
- Prior travel experience required
- Proficient in General Ultrasound, Small Parts, Vascular (upper/lower extremity venous), and OBGYN (fetal survey, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester)
- Experience with pediatric ultrasound including hips, spine, head, and pylorus/intussusception evaluation
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Perform ultrasound imaging across general, vascular, OBGYN, and pediatric specialties for all age groups
- Candidates must be agreeable to floating between all three facility sites
- Bi-weekly orientation schedule
- Scrubs required in any color
- RTO limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted upfront
- Block scheduling is not permitted
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
- Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a reduced local rate
