Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with RDCS or RCS certification and 1-2 years of hospital echo experience.

Details

• 145-bed community hospital setting
• Performs 10-15 echocardiograms per day, split between 2-3 technologists
• Adult patient population only
• Utilizes GE E90 and E95 ultrasound systems
• Performs intraprocedural TTE and TEE at bedside
• Robust echo department with 7-day per week coverage
• 4 shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday with every other weekend

Requirements

• RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI required; RDCS highly preferred
• 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• TEE and probe processing experience strongly preferred
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs provided by hospital
• Accepts local candidates within 60 miles at a reduced rate
• Two professional references or evaluations from the prior year in current discipline/specialty from a manager or above are required for consideration
