Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience and neurological patient care experience.
Details
- Outpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation setting
- Treats orthopedic and potential neurologic patients
- Special populations include oncology, lymphedema, amputee, spinal cord injury, stroke, and total joint replacement patients
- Schedule includes 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday
- No on-call or floating requirements
Requirements
- Current CT PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required
- Experience working with patients with neurological conditions required
- Vestibular therapy experience preferred
- Two professional references from previous managers required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing physical therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation
- Provides patient and family education and training
- Completes documentation timely per department guidelines
- Initiates discharge planning as part of patient care
- Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rate
