Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 5+ years experience and ARDMS certification in OB and Abdomen to perform a range of specialty exams independently.

Details

Critical access, 25-bed hospital setting
Diagnostic imaging modalities include General Ultrasound (Ab/OB, small parts) and Vascular Technology
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
24-week assignment

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years experience required
Current BLS/BCLS certification required
ARDMS certification in OB and Abdomen required
Must be able to work independently and perform a range of specialty exams
State license required upon acceptance
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border
Area known for outdoor recreation including hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
Agency professionals required to attend department quarterly education sessions
Facility team provides support throughout the transition process
