Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 5 years of experience and a AL or compact RN license

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital environment with 4 labs
• Cardiac patient population
• 1 team to 1 patient ratio
• Uses Merge Hemo equipment and charting system, with Epic also utilized
• 13-week assignment with a 06:30-17:00 shift schedule and 36 guaranteed weekly hours
• Call rotation includes one call shift per week and one weekend of call per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (AL or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), AHA-issued only
• Minimum of 5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Required skills/experience: IABP, Impella, Laser, Shockwave, and Phillips panning experience
• Merge Hemo experience preferred

• Provide direct patient care within a high-acuity cardiac cath lab setting
• Team player mentality with flexibility, initiative, accountability, and timeliness expected
• Scrub color requirement: Ceil Blue or Royal Blue with professional attire per CMS and facility standards
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
