Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 5+ years experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy cardiac catheterization lab.

Details

  • Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 4 procedure labs treating adult cardiac patients
  • 1 team to 1 patient ratio
  • Uses Merge Hemo equipment and charts in Merge Hemo/Epic EMR
  • 3x12 hour shifts Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Call requirements include one weekday call shift per week and one weekend of call per month
  • No floating required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Cath Lab experience required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
  • RCIS certification required, if applicable
  • Must have experience with IABP, Impella, Laser, and Shockwave
  • Phillips panning experience required
  • Merge Hemo experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures using advanced circulatory support and atherectomy technologies
  • Work as part of a collaborative, cardiac-focused clinical team
  • Candidates should be flexible, accountable, and able to take initiative
  • Scrub color requirement of Ceil Blue or Royal Blue
  • Professional attire expected in accordance with CMS and facility standards
  • Local candidates and those within the 50-mile radius rule for Alabama facilities are not eligible for this position
  • First-time travelers may be considered
