Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 5+ years experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy cardiac catheterization lab.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 4 procedure labs treating adult cardiac patients
- 1 team to 1 patient ratio
- Uses Merge Hemo equipment and charts in Merge Hemo/Epic EMR
- 3x12 hour shifts Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Call requirements include one weekday call shift per week and one weekend of call per month
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required (AHA only)
- RCIS certification required, if applicable
- Must have experience with IABP, Impella, Laser, and Shockwave
- Phillips panning experience required
- Merge Hemo experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures using advanced circulatory support and atherectomy technologies
- Work as part of a collaborative, cardiac-focused clinical team
- Candidates should be flexible, accountable, and able to take initiative
- Scrub color requirement of Ceil Blue or Royal Blue
- Professional attire expected in accordance with CMS and facility standards
- Local candidates and those within the 50-mile radius rule for Alabama facilities are not eligible for this position
- First-time travelers may be considered
