Description
American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week days assignment requiring an active Oregon PT license and BLS certification.
Details
- Inpatient physical therapy position within a Level 2 trauma center's regional medical system
- Shared position covering two sites, Corvallis and Albany, based on patient need
- Day shift, 0730-1800, including every weekend
- 13-week assignment with 40 guaranteed hours
- Patient population spans pediatrics to geriatrics, including neurological and women's health cases
- Rehabilitation team provides specialty care including lymphedema care and wheelchair fitting
- Must be able to travel to multiple points of care
Requirements
- Current, active, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Must be able to travel between multiple points of care

- Facility features a complex, high-acuity patient census ranking among the top 5 in the state
- Newly built outpatient clinic includes cutting-edge equipment, separate adult and pediatric gyms, and an underwater treadmill
- Outpatient services also provided through a newly constructed regional cancer center
- Main responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients with injuries or conditions causing decline in physical mobility or functional independence
