Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT and CNMT certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting with 356 staffed beds
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Rotational call required, weekdays 5 PM to 6 AM and weekends 8 AM to 7 AM
- Weekend coverage includes one tech staffed in the morning
- May be required to float to another nearby Providence facility
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience required
- ARRT, BLS, and CNMT certifications required
- CA state license required and must be in hand at time of submission (if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
- LA fire card completed within the last 30 days required
- Full SSN and DOB required for compliance
Additional Information
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures within an acute care hospital setting
- Any scrub color permitted
- Free parking available onsite
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility as permanent staff may return after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and minimal RTO is preferred to expedite the offer process
- Must disclose any license or background check issues at time of submission
