Description
American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Sonographer with 2+ years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience and RVT/RVS registration for an outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic.
Details
- Outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic serving patients of all ages
- 8-12 RVT/RVS studies performed daily
- Common diagnoses include PVD, CAD, HF, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and TOS
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Weekend rotation required, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- May float to High Point outpatient lab location if needed
- No on-call or call-back requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience
- BLS certification required
- ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or CCI RVS (Registered Vascular Sonographer) required
- License required if applicable
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Proficiency in carotid, upper/lower arterial and venous studies, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, iliac veins, and arterial bypass grafts

- Perform a wide range of vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, upper/lower extremity arterial and venous, DVT/reflux, vein mapping, renal, mesenteric, AAA, endograft, aorta, PVR/segmental pressures, hemodialysis grafts, and arterial bypass grafts
- Uses VascuPro reporting system and Philips Epic Elite and Parks PVR/Segmental Pressures equipment
- Supported by department leadership and peer team
- 3-day departmental orientation provided
- Black scrubs required
- Free parking available
- Traveler-friendly, teamwork-oriented department culture
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning employees must be separated from any AHSE facility for at least 1 year after working a permanent position
