Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a Montana or compact RN license and prior specialty experience.
Details
- Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours weekly)
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license in Montana or a compact state currently in hand, with no pending license allowed
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS as appropriate for the unit, none expiring prior to start date
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the PACU specialty required
- Epic EMR experience required
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
- Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results through a specific required vendor
- Candidates should report for drug screening within 24 hours of assignment commitment
