Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring a Montana or compact RN license and prior specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours weekly)
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RN license in Montana or a compact state currently in hand, with no pending license allowed
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and PALS as appropriate for the unit, none expiring prior to start date
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the PACU specialty required
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted nursing practice standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
• Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
• Allow at least 2 weeks for background check and drug screen results through a specific required vendor
• Candidates should report for drug screening within 24 hours of assignment commitment
