Description
American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring a WI or compact RN license and 2 years of rehab/med-surg nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the Rehab Nursing IRF unit of a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital
- Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work
- Uses Epic EHR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (WI or Compact) currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- Rehabilitation and med-surg nursing experience required
- Skilled nursing experience preferred
- High school diploma required
- Strong customer service skills
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive rehabilitation nursing care within a CARF-accredited Stroke Specialty, Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Amputation Specialty program
- Facility partnership between ProHealth Care and Lifepoint Rehabilitation focused on specialized recovery programs
- Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any Lifepoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
