Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an inpatient acute rehabilitation position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active IA or compact RN license.

Details

Work in the Rehab Nursing unit of a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
13-week travel assignment on day shift
Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Required to work every other weekend

Requirements

Active RN license (Iowa state or compact) currently in hand
AHA certifications required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Active licensure verification via Nursys required at time of consideration
Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Provide comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation nursing care to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
Deliver customized, intensive rehabilitation care tailored to individual patient recovery needs
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on this assignment
