Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Rehab (IRF) position requiring a PA or compact RN license and every other weekend availability on a night shift.
Details
- Work in a 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, including an 11-bed locked neuro unit
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating patients with strokes, TBIs, post-orthopedic surgeries, MVAs, debility, and CVA
- Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6 or 1:7, with tech ratio of 1:12
- Uses Hoyer lifts, glucometers, and INR machines
- Charts in Epic EMR
- Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend requirement
- No call requirements
- No floating requirements
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or accepted compact state license required
- Current BLS certification required
- AHA certifications required
- Rehab or acute care experience preferred
- Compassionate personality fit desired
- Active Nursys licensure required at time of consideration
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to adult rehab patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Facility holds Joint Commission Certification with specialty Stroke and Brain Injury Certification, and is CARF accredited
- Navy blue scrubs required for nursing staff
- Report time varies by shift
- Permanent address must be more than 60 miles from the facility
- Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time
