Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility position requiring an active FL or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience.
Details
- Work in the Rehab Nursing unit of a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Patient ratio of 1:8
- Uses Cerner EHR system
- 13-week assignment with a scheduled shift of 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
- Every other weekend required
- No call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (FL or Compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum of 2 years rehabilitation nursing experience required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Basic computer knowledge required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration
Additional Information
- Provide comprehensive rehabilitation nursing care within a physical medicine and rehabilitation program
- Report directly to the Nurse Manager
- Must be a cooperative team player
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
