Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit position requiring a FL or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years' rehabilitation nursing experience.

Details

Work in a 50-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
Rehab Nursing IRF unit spanning floors 1-2
Patient population includes stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury cases
Patient ratio of 1:8
Uses Cerner EHR
Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
Every other weekend required
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active RN license (FL or Compact)
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum of 2 years' rehabilitation nursing experience
Associate's or Bachelor's degree required
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English required
Basic computer knowledge required

Additional Information

Provide individualized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from severe injury or illness
Work as part of a collaborative, team-oriented nursing staff
Navy blue scrubs required
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Cannot be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis while on assignment
