Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week day shift assignment requiring OH or compact RN licensure and EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
- 13-week contract assignment
- Requires 4 single weekend shifts within a 12-week period (Friday or Saturday night)
- Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
- No floating requirements beyond first-to-float traveler policy
- No on-call responsibilities
- EPIC charting system experience required
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- EFM-NCC or AWHONN certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients in a Labor and Delivery unit
- Travelers are prioritized first for floating assignments
- Maximum of 10 days requested time off per contract, with no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
- Permanent address must be more than 100 miles from the facility for travel rate eligibility
- Former OhioHealth employees must have a 366-day separation before returning as a traveler
- PRN employees currently active with OhioHealth may not accept travel assignments concurrently
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
- Attendance policy: more than one call-off results in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
