Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Recovery Room/PACU position requiring pre/post OR, GI, and IR experience along with active BLS and ACLS certifications.
Details
- Work in the Surgery Recovery Room/PACU unit of a hospital environment
- Provides care for patients pre/post OR, GI, and IR procedures
- Day shift with flexible start times of 0900-1730 or 1100-1930 based on department need
- 13-week assignment
- Call requirements of 1-2 shifts per weekday and every third weekend (Friday end of shift to Monday 0630)
- Rotating holiday coverage with staff
- May require floating within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Experience in pre/post OR, GI, IR, and PACU settings required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide recovery room nursing care across pre/post OR, GI, and IR patient populations
- Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
