Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of recent ED or critical care experience and EPIC proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma unit of a hospital environment
• 8-week assignment with an every-other-week and every-other-holiday schedule
• Shift hours are 06:45-19:15
• Cannot accommodate block scheduling
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA required)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Certification required, updated per applicable group schedule
• 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a larger ED, or critical care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a busy ED setting
• MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training preferred, must be an 8-hour course updated every 2 years
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate due to facility radius rules
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
