Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Emergency Department requiring 2 years of recent ED or critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Emergency Dept-Trauma unit setting
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 18:45-07:15
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
• Block scheduling requests accommodated when possible but not guaranteed
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
• PALS certification (AHA) preferred
• TNCC certification preferred, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• 2 years of recent ED experience in a larger ED department or critical care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a fast-paced ED setting
• First-time travelers may be considered given required experience is met
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss extension opportunities with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
