Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of recent ED or critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• 13-week contract assignment
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Block scheduling is not available
• Uses Epic EMR system
• May be required to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (WI or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC (AHA required for BLS, PALS, and ACLS)
• TNCC certification renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required, renewal frequency varies by group
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED experience in a larger ED department or critical care experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide emergency care to patients in a fast-paced ED environment
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
