Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical Surgical unit setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating required
• EMR system is Soarian

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required, or proof that licensure process is underway
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and updated NURSYS required to verify residence for pay rate determination

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrubs required and not provided by the facility
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) expected, particularly around holidays
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules required prior to start, completed through HealthStream
• Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment
• Candidates residing between 31-50 miles of the facility will be considered at a local pay rate
• Possible assignment extension beyond the initial 13 weeks
