Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a compact or AL RN license and one year of recent Med/Surg experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg unit (Unit/Floor 6) of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 6 to 1
• Day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Every other weekend required
• 13-week assignment length
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active Compact or Alabama RN license required with no NURSYS hits
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience required
• No certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit
• Royal/Galaxy Blue scrubs required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
