Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a KS or compact RN license and prior ED experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 trauma center
• 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (all AHA)
• TNCC certification must be up to date and renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification must be current (Group A updated yearly, Groups B-F updated every 2 years)
• CPI/MOAB High Risk certification required, including both online and on-site training portions
• Level 1 trauma center emergency department experience preferred
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to patients in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center setting
• On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training to be completed during orientation
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
