Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a KS or compact RN license and prior ED experience.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 trauma center
- 13-week assignment with night shift hours from 19:00-07:30
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Uses Cerner OneChart EHR
- Ceil blue scrubs required
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (all AHA)
- TNCC certification must be up to date and renewed every 4 years
- NIH Stroke Scale certification must be current (Group A updated yearly, Groups B-F updated every 2 years)
- CPI/MOAB High Risk certification required, including both online and on-site training portions
- Level 1 trauma center emergency department experience preferred
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide emergency care to patients in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma center setting
- On-site portion of CPI/MOAB High-Risk training to be completed during orientation
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for local candidates
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
