Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position requiring KS or compact RN license and prior trauma/surgical ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Trauma/Surgical ICU of a Level 1 Trauma Center hospital
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May float to like units on the same campus or another campus within Wichita
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI/MOAB High Risk online training completed prior to start, with on-site portion completed at orientation
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Prior trauma or surgical ICU experience required
• US Social Security Number and US home address required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to trauma and surgical ICU patients
• Radius rule applies which may affect eligibility for travel pay rate depending on distance from facility
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position
