Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position at a Level 1 trauma facility, requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and a KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Medical ICU of a Level 1 trauma hospital
• 13-week assignment with a night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Cerner OneChart EHR system
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• CPI/MOAB High Risk training (online and on-site portions) required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to medical ICU patients in a Level 1 trauma environment
• On-site CPI/MOAB High-Risk training portion completed during orientation
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate
• Candidates should discuss extension opportunities with management approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
