Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring 5+ years of experience and an active AL or compact RN license.
Details
- >Work on a Medical-Surgical unit in a hospital setting
- 18-bed unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Uses Meditech EHR system
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Rotating weekend requirement
- Floating required
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 5 years of Med-Surg nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric Med-Surg patients
- Team-oriented environment seeking candidates who take ownership of their role
- Royal blue scrubs required
- Weekly Monday orientations
- Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate
- Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
