Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications on a night shift schedule.

Details

• Work in the Perinatal unit, including Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) rooms, triage, and postpartum/women's health rooms
• Unit includes 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, and 5 PP/WHS rooms, plus 2 NICU beds in the nursery
• Approximately 80-90 births per month
• Uses Centricity as the charting system and Paragon for medication administration
• Patient ratios follow AWHONN standards
• Night shift schedule with every other weekend required
• May be required to float to Mother Baby unit
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Prior Labor and Delivery nursing experience required
• Must be able to take charge as needed
