Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an OH or compact license and 18 months of combined specialty experience.

Details

• Work in the Med/Surg Tele (MS/Tele) unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-7:00
• 6-month assignment length

Requirements

• Active OH RN license (Standard or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS required; ACLS preferred
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
• No open background check cases or license hits accepted

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Nicotine-free facility requirement waived for nurses
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract
• Assignments may be extended up to 18 consecutive months, with a required 6-month break before returning unless client-approved
• Pre-start and annual training modules required, averaging 6-15 hours
