Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a Surgery Center position requiring a Compact RN license and at least one year of surgical experience.

- Work in a surgery center setting performing operating room duties
- Role includes circulating and scrub responsibilities
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, days
Requirements
- Active Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of one year of surgical/OR nursing experience required
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Information
- Perform perioperative nursing care including preoperative assessment, care plan formulation, operative care implementation, and postoperative evaluation
- Assemble equipment and supplies using sterile technique to set up for surgical cases
- Prepare patients for surgery including positioning, site prep, and confirming procedure details with the surgical team
- Perform and document surgical counts of sponges, sharps, and instruments
- Assist with operating room clean-up and proper disposal of used supplies and sharps after procedures
