Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of recent Cath Lab/EP experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 11 procedure rooms (5 cath, 4 EP, 2 hybrid OR)
• Patient ratio of 1 patient to 3 staff
• Monitor and circulate cath lab and/or EP procedures
• Uses GE and Philips x-ray systems, Volcano IVUS/FFR, and Merge Hemo equipment
• Documentation completed in Merge Hemo and Meditech
• Schedule consists of 4x10-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Floating limited to prep and recovery areas only
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (TN or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including PCI, Rotoblator, laser atherectomies, ECMO, TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, IVUS, FFR, complex PCI, CTO, Shockwave, and Penumbra
• Perform EP procedures including EP studies, pacemakers, ICD placements, ablations (excluding cryo ablations), micra pacemakers, loop recorders, and lead extractions including laser lead extractions
• Join one of the top cardiac programs in Tennessee, offering a growing program with all cardiac modalities except transplant

• Scrubs required as the standard uniform
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
