Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med Surg/Cardiology RN with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a compact or AL RN license.
Details
- Work on a 30-bed Med Surg/Cardiology unit
- Patient population includes pre and post-heart cath, general med surg, and general cardiology cases such as chest pain and hypertension
- Patient ratio of 1:6
- Uses standard acute care equipment
- Cerner EMR
- Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
- Every other weekend required
- First to float
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (AL or Compact) required
- BLS certification required (AHA only accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
- Med Surg experience required; Cardiology experience preferred
- Acute care skills preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must be flexible, open to feedback, dependable, and friendly with staff and patients
- Navy scrub color required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
