Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Oncology RN for a night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and NIHSS certification.

Details

  • Med/Surg-Oncology unit with 18 beds
  • Patient population includes oncology, palliative, post-op bariatric, and med/surg overflow cases
  • Patient ratio of 6:1
  • Uses computer, IV pump, vital sign machine, and other basic medical equipment
  • EPIC EMR system used
  • 3x12 night shift schedule, 18:45-07:15
  • Every other weekend required
  • No call requirements
  • Floating required as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (AL or Compact) required
  • Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA only accepted)
  • 2+ years of recent experience required
  • Med/Surg experience required
  • Acute care experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-oriented care to oncology and med/surg patients
  • Team seeks responsible, dependable, and hardworking candidates
  • Navy scrub color required; only scrubs and scrub jackets permitted as attire
  • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
