Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift float pool position requiring prior travel experience and an active OH or compact license.

Details

• MS/Tele float pool unit within a teaching hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:30), 36 hours per week
• Float required within OSU facilities
• Some weekends and holidays required
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required; ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Skilled in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required, with at least one from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; second reference may be from a Charge RN; coworker references not accepted

Additional Information

• Float pool role providing coverage across Med/Surg Tele units as needed
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Former employees eligible for consideration after 6 months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible for travel positions at this health system
• Requested time off must be submitted with the contract and limited to 7 days or less
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed promptly after contract signing due to strict compliance timelines
