Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT/RRT) with at least 2 years of experience and NICU experience for a Wisconsin travel contract position.

Details

• Will float to NICU as needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Located in Wisconsin, compact license allowed
• Local candidates in Madison accepted with a 10% rate reduction

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous RT experience required
• NICU experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract required
• State license required if applicable
• Active state license and certifications required at time of submission
• Driver's license or proof of permanent residency required for consideration
• Work history/resume required for consideration
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required for consideration
• License verification required for consideration
• Copies of all required certifications must be active and included, pending certifications not accepted
• One supervisory reference from within 2 years of employment/contract required for consideration
• Proof of taxable address required to verify bill rate eligibility

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a taxable address outside 50 miles from the facility unless applying locally in Madison
• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
• Time off requests are limited to 1 day during the periods of 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
• Candidates previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for submission
