Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an Emergency Department position requiring active CA RN licensure and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule from 06:30 PM to 07:00 AM
• EPIC experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 3 years of ER specialty experience required
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the ER specialty required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior disciplinary action on license permitted

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care based on established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, humane, and caring treatment
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide health education and learning opportunities to patients, families, and team members
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Required to complete all Adventist Health mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates with no radius restriction
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
