Description

American Traveler is hiring a Technologist for an Interventional Radiology position requiring active ARRT or RCIS certification and prior Cath Lab/IR vascular experience.

Details

• Works in the Cath Lab-Interventional Vascular unit
• Performs vascular procedures including scrub, circulate, and monitor duties
• Approximately 25 cases per day
• Days shift, 4x10 hour shifts starting at 7am, 40 hours per week
• Call requirement of every 3rd evening and every 3rd weekend
• Call team covers both campuses with most emergencies occurring at the Level I trauma facility
• Required to float across campuses when needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification required
• Active or compact IA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 12 months of vascular procedure experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting required
• Peripheral vascular experience required
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required
• Current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• ARRT (CI or VI) certification preferred
• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred, with licensing candidates considered
• Driver's license required for consideration
• Professional reference from supervisor/manager within 24 months preferred

Additional Information

• Performs scrub, circulate, and monitor duties for vascular procedures
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Past UPH FTE or PRN float pool employees cannot work travel assignments at other UPH facilities within 12 months
