Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of pediatric critical care experience for a day shift assignment supporting ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas.

Details

  • Work in the Respiratory Care department of a pediatric hospital
  • Provide respiratory care across ICU, ED, and general pediatric care areas
  • Pediatric patient population including PICU and NICU cases
  • 12-hour day shift schedule
  • 3 shifts per week with every other weekend required
  • Must be open to floating across assigned units
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Pediatric experience required
  • Extensive critical care experience in PICU, NICU, and ED required
  • Level I trauma center experience highly preferred
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Active GA state license required, if applicable
  • Flu vaccination required with no medical or religious exemptions accepted
  • Must pass nicotine and drug screening

Additional Information

  • Deliver respiratory therapy services to pediatric patients in critical and general care settings
  • Work at a nicotine-free facility with mandatory nicotine and drug testing
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
