Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience and RT or RCIS certification for a 13-week assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- 8-hour day shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Shared on-call coverage required for 24/7 cath lab, approximately 10-11 call shifts per month including rotating weekends
- Uses Epic EMR
- Operates diagnostic imaging equipment during procedures
Requirements
- RT or RCIS certification required
- MIRT license required
- MA license required if applicable
- ACLS and CPR-AHA (AHA) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Specific cardiac cath lab experience required
Additional Information
- Performs scrub tech functions to assist cardiologists and vascular surgeons during procedures
- Performs hemodynamic monitoring during cases
- Documents procedures throughout each case
- Candidates must complete Tele/ECG and Medication pass/fail testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this assignment
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any BILH facility
- First-time travelers may be considered for this position
