Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical-Surgical position requiring NH or compact licensure and prior orthopedic and Epic experience.

Details

• Work on a 15-bed medical-surgical unit providing general inpatient care for adult M/S patients
• Unit has specialized focus with staff dedicated to orthopedic and oncology care
• Average patient stay is 3-4 days
• Typical patient ratios are 5-6:1
• 12-hour day shifts scheduled 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No floating or charge nurse responsibilities required
• Biweekly orientation

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Must be separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for 6+ months to be considered

Additional Information

• Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care with a focus on orthopedic and oncology patients
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
• Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
