Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with ARRT certification and an active MA license to support hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac stimulator procedures.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
- 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Minimum on-call requirement of one night per week (5:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and one weekend per month (Saturday/Sunday, 48 hours)
- Operate radiographic equipment, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, cardiac stimulators, and CEID programmers
- Reports to the Technical Director
Requirements
- ARRT certification required
- MA license required if applicable
- Knowledge of sterile technique required
- Experience operating radiographic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
- Must pass Tele/ECG and Medication competency testing
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include operating radiographic equipment, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, cardiac stimulators, and CEID programmers using sterile technique
- Orientation occurs twice a month
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
- Previous employees of this healthcare system must have a 6-month break in employment before returning, regardless of travel, perm, or per diem status
- All requested time off must be submitted and approved at the time of consideration
