Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU position requiring an active MA license and prior Level 1 Neuro ICU experience.
Details
- Work in an 18-bed combined Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU) that functions as both an ICU and PCU
- Care for patients recovering from acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, neurointerventional radiology procedures, and neurosurgical interventions
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurointensivists, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation specialists, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Utilizes advanced monitoring technology and evidence-based practices for critically ill neuroscience patients
- 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) in 4-week blocks, with rotation potentially occurring every other schedule or as needed
- 36 hours per week with shift times of 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Neuro ICU experience required
- Level 1 trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
Additional Information
- Any color scrubs permitted
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6+ month break before returning to any BILH facility
- Pass/Fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing required for Milton and Plymouth campus assignments
- Required vaccinations include COVID (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
