Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Trauma/Surgical ICU position requiring an active MA license and prior SICU and Level 1 trauma experience.

Details

• Work in the Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (TSICU) of a hospital setting
• 8-bed unit caring for a variety of surgical patients including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery cases
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
• Epic EMR experience required
• 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No floating or charge responsibilities required

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand
• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required
• 2-3 years of related RN work experience required
• SICU experience required
• Level 1 Trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical and trauma ICU patients across a range of complex surgical cases
• Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
• Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Previous employees of Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities must have a 6-month break before returning, applicable across all employment types (travel, perm, per diem)
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
• All RTO requests must be submitted for consideration prior to interview scheduling
