Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Trauma/Surgical ICU position requiring an active MA license and prior SICU and Level 1 trauma experience.
Details
- Work in the Trauma/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (TSICU) of a hospital setting
- 8-bed unit caring for a variety of surgical patients including transplant, hepatobiliary, and general surgery cases
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
- Epic EMR experience required
- 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required in hand
- BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required
- 2-3 years of related RN work experience required
- SICU experience required
- Level 1 Trauma center experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to surgical and trauma ICU patients across a range of complex surgical cases
- Weekly orientation held every Monday, barring holidays
- Local candidates not accepted; must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Previous employees of Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities must have a 6-month break before returning, applicable across all employment types (travel, perm, per diem)
- COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed
- All RTO requests must be submitted for consideration prior to interview scheduling
