Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical ICU unit of an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM, 36-48 hours per week

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum three years of ICU experience required
• Must have recent experience in the ICU specialty within the last three months
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
• Candidates must document any employment gaps of one month or longer

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, healing, and compassionate care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education alongside team member support
• Delegate tasks and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• All required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
• Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates, with no radius restriction
