Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical ICU position requiring a CA RN license and EPIC experience.
Details
- Work in the Medical ICU unit of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM, 36-48 hours per week
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Minimum three years of ICU experience required
- Must have recent experience in the ICU specialty within the last three months
- EPIC EMR experience required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Candidates must document any employment gaps of one month or longer
Additional Information
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned ICU patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, healing, and compassionate care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Provide patient and family education alongside team member support
- Delegate tasks and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
- All required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will be automatically declined
- Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as traveling candidates, with no radius restriction
