Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring cath lab experience and on-call availability.

Details

• Work in the Cath Lab unit of a 138-bed hospital
• Team includes 6 full-time staff with a typical day shift mix of 3 RNs and 3 RTRs
• Uses GE Innova and MacLab equipment
• Meditech EMR used
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Required to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
• On-call required approximately 12-15 days per month

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Scrub, monitor, and circulating experience preferred
• Experience with procedures such as Left Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemakers, TEE, Stress Test, and Loop Recorders preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac catheterization procedures including Left Heart Cath, PCI, Pacemaker placement, TEE, Stress Tests, and Loop Recorder monitoring
• Navy blue scrubs required for RN staff
• Best fit for candidates who are flexible team players
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates will not be considered
