Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Outpatient Procedures unit position requiring EPIC experience and a California RN license.

Details

• Work in the Outpatient Procedures unit of a hospital setting
• Position may be filled as a Periop, PACU, or Endo RN
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 12-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• No prior license actions or disciplinary history allowed

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe, healing, and compassionate care
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members as appropriate
• Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction, as local rates match travel rates
• Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions available
