Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med-Surg Telemetry RN for a 13-week hospital assignment requiring an active MA RN license and current telemetry experience.
Details
- Work on a 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit caring for adult and geriatric patients
- Patients present with a wide variety of acute conditions and multiple comorbidities
- 12-hour day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
- Uses Epic EMR
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of consideration
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Current telemetry experience required
- Med-Surg experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must pass a one-time ECG/Telemetry and Medication proctored exam prior to acceptance
- Strong time management and communication skills required
Additional Information
- Provide medical-surgical telemetry nursing care to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population
- Orientation is conducted on a biweekly basis
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
- Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
