Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required as needed within scope of practice
• Uses Allscripts EMR system
• 13-week contract length

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required in-hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA certs required; RQI certs acceptable) required prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Allscripts charting experience preferred
• Two recent professional references required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty (co-worker references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
