Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an IMCU position requiring 2+ years of IMCU experience and TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Hospital inpatient setting within the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)
• Patient ratio of 1 to 4
• Cardiac drip and telemetry monitoring required
• AM shift, 7am-7pm schedule
• Weekend shifts required
• On-call responsibilities required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of IMCU experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac drip experience required
• Navy scrub color required
• Flu shot required with no exemptions granted
• Two professional references required

Additional Information

• Coordinate patient care delivery using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient transitions and prevent complications
• Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on scope of practice and patient needs
• Provide patient and family education to support informed healthcare decisions
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
