Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN - Telemetry with 2+ years of tele experience and NIH Stroke Scale training for a night shift position in Lansing, MI.
Details
- 12-hour night shift position, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Required to work every other weekend
- No on-call responsibilities
- Cares for acutely ill patients requiring close cardiac monitoring, often stepping down from intensive care
- Utilizes automated monitoring equipment such as EKGs to track vital signs and heart rhythms
Requirements
- Active RN license in Michigan required at time of consideration
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN Telemetry experience required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) training required
- ACLS certification preferred
Additional Information
- Continuously monitors patients with heart disease or other serious conditions requiring close observation
- No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) allowed during the assignment
